I’ve always been hooked on old cars, though I’m a firm believer in fuel injection and electronic ignition. The rig I’m currently driving is a 1967 Chevrolet Caprice. This baby has an Edelbrock intake, Wilwood brakes, QA1 Coilovers, and pretty much nothing else. I found it on Ebay in Castlewood, Virginia. The story is right here if you missed it. Mike, Jake, and I also drove it to Atlanta, Georgia for #Gridlife South, which was about 3 days after we finished upgrading it.
Right now I’m daily driving it because my rusty old truck took a crap and my girlfriend is driving my 2010 Challenger SRT8. The Crap-Piece has no heat in 20 degree weather with freezing rain, and a stuck accelerator pump. It’s a blast to drive. The fun days are when I get to use my torch to remove the ice from the windshield and the door.
