Reader’s Rig: Cody’s ’97 F-250
Cody has had this rusty but trusty F-250 since he was a senior in high school. He hasn’t finished it yet, but he does already have a Curt class 5 receiver, crankcase vent re-route kit, and a big air filter kit from Riff-Raff Diesel Performance. This rusty beauty also has GS series Autometer gauges on the pillar and a new radiator with aluminum expansion tank from PSP Diesel. Don’t forget the Gooseneck mirrors and the International water pump with a built in filter.
No good project is ever finished, and this truck looks like a good project. Cody plans to rebuild a Dana 60 straight axle for the front end, and no project like this could ever be complete until he’s gone through the rear axle, transmission, and added a bunch of horsepower.
This monster could probably pull a brick house down in stock form. We can’t imagine how this thing will be when he’s finished.
Thanks for sharing your project with us Cody. Let us know how it goes!
