Project FIT
As Elwood would say:
“It’s got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It’s got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It’s a model made before catalytic converters so it’ll run good on regular gas.”
……. more like
It’s got a ford 4.6 liter 2 valve plant. It’s got cheap cop tires, recalled cop 16in steelies, tired cop suspension and, blown cop shocks. It’s the model made before drive by wire so it should be good for a swap. It’s a 2003 P71 Crown Victoria.
This is the newest addition to my small collection of cars and will be my next project here on the rust coast.
At this point you might be thinking (that car is not worth even being considered as a “project” ) and you would be absolutely right. This vic has had a rough life. As far as I can tell it has been three different colors, I don’t think any of the doors are from the same car, and it appears to have a child’s night light in place of a dome light.
But look how nice the paint around the rust is reflecting my phone case. She’ll buff.
Ultimately none of that matters.
Stay tuned to find out what we have planned for this worn out old cruiser.
